snOMG

A and I are snowed in. The blizzard (being referred to as snOMG in the Chicago area) started this morning and has dumped an insane amount of snow and ice in the area. Work closed at noon, which is only the second time we've had weather-related dismissal in the two and half  years I've worked there (the last time opening was delayed until 10 am).

They have already announced that the earliest we'll open tomorrow is noon, and maybe not even then. I won't be going in. I have a short commute and the way this snow is drifting, I won't even be able to get out of my garage. I wrapped up most of my stuff this morning anyway.

They have been predicting this since Monday morning, so needless to say I rescheduled my lap. I knew I wouldn't be able to get into town by 6 am like they wanted, even if we had gotten half the snow they were predicting. I was supposed to hear today if the new appt is Friday or next Wednesday, but the offices closed before the nurse could reschedule.

So I have been curled up on the couch reading the Hunger Games trilogy all day, hoping that our power stays on!

Much love to you all, and stay warm.

Enjoy your snow day! My husband is originally from Milwaukee and talks about moving back there all the time and I'm like, No way! We get enough snow here in Maryland! :) We only go to Milwaukee in the summertime to visit for that reason...

Stay safe and warm my friend!

Well if you've got to have snow I would much rather enjoy it at home. Hope your day is nice and I love that series, hope you do too

Enjoy your snow day. So sorry you didn't get your surgery.

Did you ever get an MRI? On my HSG, they thought I had a bi-coronate uterus but the MRI revealed that it was nothing. Just a thought.

Hi there, stumbled across your blog from Lost and Found. I was told I had a bicornuate uterus and really had a septum. Had 2 surgerys (first one from a doc that apparently didnt do the job) once the septum was removed I still didnt get pregnant, we did a few IUI's and moved on to IVF. I gave birth to a little girl in November. Do yourself a favor and make sure you get a surgeon that has experience with septums!! I also wrote a blog about "God's plan".... I have not read your entire blog yet, but I will and look forward to following your journeyl
